OUR PURPOSE
Arm’s Length Robotics is building a research programme around developmental intelligence for robots.
Our work starts with a simple question: what must a machine preserve from an encounter for that experience to improve what it does next?
Life Core investigates the learning and memory foundation. Our longer-term guitar challenge gives the ambition a physical test: a robot acquiring an exacting skill through practice, feedback and retention.
The goal is useful, inspectable progress towards systems that can adapt. That requires a connected learning loop, a fair accounting of resources and evidence that extends beyond a single demonstration.
